When we were young we were under the impression of having a lot in our minds and tried with our dreams to ease off the pressure. C.V.T. members that grew up away from our village, dreamed of being able to give something back to their land that they so longed for.
The time has come and the youngsters of Chimara have met and decided to fulfil their dreams and their desires. With small but proud steps and guided steps and guided by independency the C.V.T. was founded to offer simple but necessary help to our land.
Offering involves everyone since we share the same world. Everyone, some more some less, can offer to the land that we live in and love.
C.V.T. members continue to dream and believe that will be able to materialize those dreams… And this is their wish for everyone.
All together we wish and offer!!!!

We all started together as a team on August 2008 and focused mostly on environmental matters. This resulted in placing 30 litter bins along the following coasts: Gonia, Livadi, Apelistra, Spilia, Sfagio, Maratsi, Gouma and Potami which we made on our own.

During February of 2009, notebooks and balls of football were distributed to the students of the Albanian and the Hellenic schools of Chimara. |

Regarding the reforestation which has been organized by SKAI channel on the 23d and the 30th of November in the area of Kalyvia and Ymittos accordingly, the Volunteers’ Team participated with great plesure.

After a lot of effort, Chimara Volunteer Team, created a Blood Bank for Chimara. The bank is operational as of January 2009. For the materialization of the Blood Bank, Chimara Volunteer Team cooperated and continues to do so with Voula Hospital, Asklepeio. The manager of the hospital’s blood donation saw a lot of interest for Chimara Volunteer Team and helped a lot for the formation of the bank. |
